PATTERN SPECIFICATIONS

Abbey Cardigan - P292

Bottom up worked to underarms on flat or circular needles. Sleeves worked flat separately then joined to body and work raglan yoke. The delicate lace detail will keep you inspired. The scalloped edge is knitted. The only seaming required is the sleeve seams.

[D] -- 230 g -- 530 m -- 575 yds

TENSION:
22 stitches x 30 rows = 10 cm (4 in) worked in st st on 4 mm (US 6 : UK 8) needles.

NEEDLES REQUIRED
3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) 61cm (24 in) circular needles.
One set double pointed 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9)

Special requirements:
You must be an
intermediate/advanced - intermediate knitter to be considered for this project and have prior experience as a test knitter.

Test knitters to provide a link or photos to their portfolio/work.

Deadline for completion:
Wednesday - 27 August 2025 COB / AEST

Expectations:

  • Please provide a description of the yarn you intend to use.

  • Please DO NOT alter the design in any form.

  • You accept and agree that I may use these photos on Instagram and other social media platforms;

  • You also accept that your photos may need to be adjusted to provide a higher resolution and where an image features a baby/toddler face, this may need to be resized/scaled where possible, to maintain the privacy of the baby/toddler.

  • Please provide x 3-4 photos – front of work, back of work and how the garment is worn.

  • Photos must be crisp and clear for marketing on social media.

  • You will be asked to complete a survey on the completion of your project. This will help with development of future knitting patterns created at OGE Knitwear Designs.

Compensation: 
Each tester that completes this test on time will be gifted the final version of this pattern as well as a choice of one other individual pattern to the same value as the tested pattern.
