After many emails and requests from knitters I am thrilled that I have succumbed to your requests and worked on designing a little more to finalise my ‘Norwegian Fir Set’ which I am sure will become as popular as the matching Cardigan (Norwegian Fir Cardigan P109). The Romper and Nappy Cover are knitted in two pieces, as I know there are many, many knitters who prefer working on straight needles. Minimal seaming required. The hat is worked in the round.

SKILL LEVEL - Intermediate

Note: the pictured garments were knitted in Bellissimo 8ply - Colours (Beige 202), (Cream 201) and (Dark Navy 206)
However any 8ply DK yarn would work well, especially if the yarn has a tight twist, and you are able to achieve the same gauge/tension as per the pattern.

NEEDLES REQUIRED
3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) straight needles
3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) circulars for the Hat

OTHER MATERIALS
5 buttons (for Romper)
stitch markers
60 cm elastic 12 mm wide for Nappy Cover.
If not using elastic, you will need ribbon long enough to go around waist and tie in a bow.

TENSION / GAUGE
22sts - 40 rows = 10 cm (4 in) using 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles worked in garter stitch.
