The Aspen Fir sweater is a sideways knit. Commencing at the cuff, the Fir pattern runs up the centre of the sleeve to the neckline and around the hemline. This pattern also comes with an option of working the sleeves in just the garter stitch. Minimal seaming is required for the sweater.
